11

Congratulations!

You have just found one of twelve
Eggman for Mayor Egghunt Hats
deployed across the city!

You’re at Eirann Quay:
Just across from two of the most successful public initiatives this province has ever made: $30 million to make Trillium Park, resulting in decades of experiences at Ontario Place.

Why can’t we keep it open and restore it to its former glory?

Why are we even considering commodifying it? Why can’t we work with what we’ve got?

Let’s ask the public what they want. No one has done that yet.

Let’s focus on restoring Ontario Place, integrating the Islands and bringing them closer to the city in terms of accessibility and use. The Islands are one of this city’s greatest treasures, and are underutilized in many ways.

Let’s make sure Hanlon’s stays Hanlon’s. And let’s look at options for housing on the island.

And let’s remember when Toronto took in twice as many refugees as its entire population: back when it was a city of compassion.

More on that … next egg.

There’s one candidate pushing for this: Meet Gru.
We’re going to be announcing the launch of Gru’s mayoral campaign at 129 Peter St at 3 pm on Tuesday, April 11. We hope you can join us!  Bring some friends who care about real social Justice in this city!
